Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety

I have never known anything more quietly loud than anxiety -Rupi Kaur

So many of us suffer from anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, panic attacks or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It feels like everywhere you go people talk about anxiety as if it’s simply part of the cost of modern life. But it doesn’t have to be. Anxiety doesn’t control you and you are not your symptoms. You can learn to manage your symptoms and begin to feel better.

Depression

Postpartum depression (PPD) is common and in no way a referendum on what kind of mother you are. If you have PPD, the sooner you seek treatment, the sooner you can manage your symptoms and form a closer bond with your baby. Proper treatment means a more balanced motherhood experience without the extreme lows of PPD.
